Last week we supplied a photo booth and our light-up letters to the Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group’s ‘Me Festival’ at Himley Hall and Park. The event was designed to teach the 12 and 13 year old children more about health and wellbeing, with workshops and theatre productions covering topics like binge drinking and bullying as well as giving the children a chance to try their hand at healthy cooking. The kids even got the chance to meet the amazing West Midlands Fire Dogs.

Our 4ft light up letters spelled out the hashtag across the entrance that Dudley CCG used on the day to promote the event and, we think you will agree, they looked pretty good! The hashtag got excellent interaction during the day on Twitter and it was great to do our bit.

The event also featured one of our booth which let the kids create strip photo momentos of the day complete with the branding from the event.

Our light-up letters are available for hire for £65 per letter on a standalone basis and are just £45 per letter when booked alongside a photobooth. At the start of July we supplied a booth to the Alfie Johnson Summer Ball at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill, an annual black-tie dinner that was being held to raise funds to help Alfie and other disabled children in the area.

We took our brand new selfie pod along, free of charge for the charity, and over the course of the evening got some great shots of the guests in our range of dressing up props pulling some of the daftest expressions we’ve ever seen but clearly having a great time and making donations totalling over £350 in exchange for using the pod and keeping their pictures.

Paul Johnson, part of the team that worked tirelessly to organise the event, said: “What a fantastic experience. So much fun, everyone who attended the event thoroughly enjoyed all the great props – they made for some brilliant photos!

The booth helped make our event that little bit different and special, great fun was had by all. We would highly recommend people add a booth to their event for that something special and we can’t thank Photobooth.co.uk enough for supplying us the booth free of charge in aid of the Friends of Alfie Johnson.”

The evening was a great success for the charity and we are delighted to have played our part.

This past weekend it was our great pleasure to supply a booth for the testimonial dinner of Gloucester and England rugby player Olly Morgan at Cheltenham Racecourse.  The evening, hosted by BBC rugby presenter John Inverdale, saw a host of current and former players including current England captain Chris Robshaw come together to celebrate the career of the fullback.

Olly Morgan Photo Booth Hire

The event was a great success and a memorable way for Olly to say a fond farewell to the professional game with the booth proving the ideal way to chronicle the evening and help fill in the gaps for one or two hazy memories, something Olly appreciated:

“The booth was a fantastic addition to the event!  Being my farewell ball I wanted to try and capture as many memories as possible and using the booth was certainly a great way to do that.

Everyone loved it and we were pleased to see it in one piece at the end of the night!”
