The concept of automatic photo booths was invented in the 19th century. The first automated photographic machine, which worked properly, was invented by an inventor from France, T. E. Enjalbert in 1889 and the Germany born inventor Carl Sasse had invented the first photographic automated machine with the use of of negative and positive printing in the year 1896. However, the modern version of the photo booth is originally the brain child of Anatol Josepho. The machine was first introduced in the year 1923.
Since then, decades have passed and the concept of photo booths has changed. Now the modern techniques and tools make the process not only easier but faster as well. Using the machine is now fun compared to what it was before. The modern photo booths now have new technology and processing methods as well as services.
The Old One:
The old photo booths worked based on the concept of automatic photo development and printing but with certain limitations. Those photo booths did not have the ability to pricnt color images. Due to several technical limitations, the booths could not offer modern services.
The photo booths of this era normally took 3 to 4 minutes to complete the whole process and give printouts to the customer. The booths were seen in places like railway stations, bus terminals or other public locations.
The New One:
