On the 27^th May 2012 I and Photo booth attendant Dave rocked up in the Famous New York Taxi Photo Booth to Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna’s wedding, who plays Carmel in the popular TV show, for her marriage to Ian Minton.

We arrived at 11am in Lancashire where Gemma and Ian were to be married at The West Tower.  The Famous New York Taxi was ready and set up to greet Gemma Merna and Ian Minton’s guests as the ceremony finished. It wasn’t long before The Famous New York Taxigot guests talking and soon got queues forming as every family member and friends including Sam Faiers and Joey Essex stars of  TOWIE and also Hollyoaks cast wanted to have their photograph taken in the Famous New York Taxi. Our service enabled guests to take photographs which they would keep for themselves as a special memory of Gemma and Ian’s day, but also an extra copy was printed out so that it could be put into the Wedding guestbook, provided by our company. Once the photographs were put into the guestbook, family and friends were able to write a message of best wishes for Gemma and Ian.

The queues carried on into the night with more and more family and friends wanting to get involved in the Famous New York Taxi fun! At 7pm all guests went back inside the venue ready for the party to begin with entertainment including Two Shoes who were one of X Factor’s finalists. After all acts had performed it was time for Photobooth to shine again, this time the classic round photo booth was located just behind the dance floor and was as popular as the Famous New York Taxi, Gemma and Ian even got to try this out for themselves using our box full of props provided, they were able to let their hair down and take some crazy but memorable pictures in the photo booth that will last forever.

By 12am the wedding had come to an end and it was time to pack up and collect all of the props that were such a big hit with all guests. Gemma Merna’s management were left with two filled wedding guestbooks and two USB’s that were jam packed with tons of photographs and crazy video messages left for the bride and groom to look back at and remember their special day. It was truly a pleasure to be able to offer our services for Gemma and Ian’s wedding and we hope that we were able to add a special touch to their day with our photo booths!

On Thursday 24th May 2012 our Famous New York Photobooth

Taxi travel turned up to support Copthorne Hotel, MerryHill for

their event. The event was very success with a numerous amount

of people impressed with the New York Taxi. The Hotel put

on a promotional party to advertise their hotel and

photobooth.co.uk were more than happy to help. The Famous New York

Photobooth Taxi was able to encourage guests to take part and

have their photo’s taken inside the New York Taxi Photo Booth.

On Saturday 12^th May 2012 our Famous New York Photobooth Taxi travelled to London to support the charity ‘Walk the Walk’ at their event The MoonWalk London 2012. Over 17,000 women and men came to Hyde Park as they took on their chosen challenge wearing beautifully decorated bras, the trademark of the charity. The charity raises awareness and funds to support research into breast cancer and organisations which provide emotional and physical support for those living with cancer. The Famous New York Photobooth Taxi was able to encourage guests to take part and help raise money for the charity as everyone who had their photograph taken in the Famous New York Photobooth Taxi would give a small donation to the charity.
