Each year in the UK there are over a staggering 240,000 weddings and 1.25m parties. As part of the research to opening our 7th UK franchise we dug deep into our database of thousands of events over the last 3 years to find the top 10 wedding and party venues for West London photobooth hire.

Some of them we were not at all surprised to see on the list, with their reputations as quality venues preceding them. Others however did come as somewhat as a surprise – take a look below and see which ones on the list you expected and those you might not have thought of.

So which venues in West London are the most popular for weddings and parties….

Great Fosters – Egham

Dating back from the 1550′s when it was built to be a royal hunting lodge, it subsequently became a luxurious stately home to generations of landed gentry. Today this prestigious historical building serves as a luxury 43 bedroom hotel, meetings and events venue.

Set in 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland Great Fosters is recognised as one of the most romantic wedding venues in the Surrey and West London region. As well as being an ideal venue for wedding receptions, Great Fosters is also licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, both inside the hotel and out on the lawns. They also happen to be one of the most popular venues for West London photobooth hire.

The Lensbury – Teddington Lock

Nestled on the banks of the River Thames, The Lensbury is a 171 bedroom 4-star hotel set in 25 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds. The hotel also benefits from leisure facilities, state of the art health club, award-winning spa and a hi-tech Conference Centre.

Built in the 1930′s the building was originally used as a sports club by the employees of Shell and BP. The unique riverside location provides a spectacular backdrop, along with a choice of stylish and elegant rooms which make a perfect venue for weddings and other celebrations.

Winning Post – Twickenham

This venue located close to the heart of Twickenham is extremely popular with private party organisers, especially for those milestone birthdays such as 18th, 21st and 40th etc. TheWinning Post is warm friendly pub having the added benefit of a Premier Inn hotel on the site, making it a great party venue.

Over the last few years the Winning Post has been host to a good number of parties that have included photo booth hire as part of the evening’s entertainment and are very welcoming of anyone who is looking to arrange a party in and around this part of West London.

The Riverside Venue – Hounslow

Only recently opened, this modern purpose-built venue sits on the banks of the river Crane and is ideally close to Heathrow Airport. With excellent links to the M4 and M25 motorways, the Riverside Venue combines both convenience and easy access with state of the art facilities.

The venue itself can cater for parties of up to 800 guests and is becoming increasingly popular within the asian community for weddings and other celebrations. With two suites and a riverside garden marquee it has been host to many events that included a West London photobooth.

Sunbury Golf Club – Shepperton

The Sunbury Golf Centre is located just minutes from the M3 and within easy reach of Heathrow airport and other key locations in West London. Facilities include both the Old Barn which can cater for up to 150 guests and the Club Lounge which provides for a more intimate venue and catering for up to 90.

These two magnificent function rooms cater for events of all kinds including weddings, proms, birthday celebrations and corporate days. For weddings Sunbury Golf Club now have a Civil Ceremony Licence enabling the happy couple and 85 guests to enjoy the whole of their special day at the venue.

Wentworth Club – Virginia Water

Best known as one of the worlds leading championship golf courses, Wentworth is about much more than just golf. Built in the early 1800′s as a fashionable gothic style house it wasn’t until the 1920′s that the golf course was added. Then in 1999 the Wentworth Tennis and Health Club opened it’s doors and together with its six versatile private rooms, terraces and beautiful views, it now makes an excellent choice for weddings, parties, corporate events and other gatherings.

For larger events, the Ballroom is a unique, traditional yet flexible event space with the The Ryder & Curtis Cup rooms providing a more intimate atmosphere, including a private terrace. We have noted that Wentworth Club is an increasingly popular venue with customers who are enquiring about a west London photobooth.

Strawberry Hill – Twickenham

Another Gothic style building, Strawberry Hill is just an amazing sight to behold. Affectionately known as one of England’s most elegant and eccentric Gothic houses, this amazing venue, originally built in the 1700′s, makes for a stunning backdrop and location for weddings and other events.

Originally built by Horace Walpole, the son of Britain’s first Prime Minister, the house boasts a Gallery room which was Horace Walpole’s main room for entertaining and which has recently been restored to the room which Walpole and his friends knew.  With its fan vaulted ceilings, golden canopies and crimson damask, The Gallery is a truly unique setting for any wedding or event that you want your guests to remember for a long time to come!

Ealing Town Hall – Ealing

Home of the local registry office, Ealing Town Hall also boasts three large rooms capable of accommodating anywhere from 60 to 250 guests. All the large rooms in Ealing Town Hall are licensed for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies, with the dramatic formal staircases of the Town Hall and nearby Walpole Park, both being popular choices for formal photos.

The most impressive room the building is the Victoria Hall. This gothic style room is a stunning venue for any event with up 250 guests being able to dine in this room. With a large stage for bands/discos, the Victoria Hall is ideal for larger celebrations. The room can also be booked in conjunction with the Princes Hall if a separate area is required for catering service.

Twickenham Rugby Stadium – Twickenham

Home to England Rugby, Twickenham is also host to some amazing parties and events. With over 7000 sq m of event space, a luxurious 4* Marriott Hotel and a Virgin Active Classic health and fitness club all under one roof this impressive venue can cater anywhere from 10 to 1500 guests.

Great for large weddings, their romantically named Rose Suite can accommodate up to 850 guests in one sitting. And for Christmas parties where in West London photobooth rental is becoming extremely popular, the on-site hotel is a great attraction to corporate event managers when seeking their ideal venue.

If looking for a venue for 100 guests or more, the Glasshouse on the Lock has an immediate “wow” factor with floor to ceiling windows, a stunning backdrop with the famous Regents’ Canal and superb views over Camden Market. Holiday Inn Camden Lock is also licensed to hold wedding ceremonies for up to 220 people.
